Juicy pine green vintage vest

It's almost midnight and I couldn't be more exhausted. However, forestalling upcoming August, I'd like to post some photos from the beginning of July.
The juicy pine green vest is another vintage find I encountered into when digging out the rebellious denim jacket.

To rehabilitate myself after the fruitless time in July, last weekend I started photographing in the woods and editing again. I'm also maniacally listening to the Rent soundtrack on repeat, meditating over the just-passed year without Amy Winehouse, reading Shakespeare (yes!) or Harry Potter and watching movies. Recent recommendations include: 13 Tzameti, Rabbit Hole, Restless, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Jules et Jim by the greatest François Truffaut.

A place in the sun

A few snapshots, or outtakes, and some close-ups from the previously posted photo series. Simply to put myself back on the blogging tracks and before the next outfit post. The title may also be a continuation from the previous post since it comes from another brilliant, classic movie from the 1950s, starring lady Taylor and sir Clift. When I was staring motionlessly at these photos, thinking over a title for the post and repeating 'sun' in my head, that movie streamed into my mind.
One more word about the outfit. Aren't those badges kind of cute?

July has been, and unfortunately actually still is, the strangest month in my year so far. All the creative juices were replaced by thought-fighting and never-ending confusion. I applied for some university courses, such as journalism, communications, French or art history, got into, and eventually resigned from all of them. The good thing is, I've learned a little bit more about myself and got to know myself better. Well, I'm postponing retraining till later and now I think I'm back to the self-development processes in personal terms.

Rebel without a cause

My last home expedition upstairs, where bags stuffed with old childhood clothes survived disposal for some reason, ended up with finding a few vintage items. That denim jacket with insane badges is my favorite and I couldn't resist picturing it accompanied by a flannel shirt with a black/white cubes pattern, black skinny pants and some really old sneakers sloppily laced.

I've been maintaining a rebellious mood with some films, of course. I started with White Oleander, which I loved mainly because of the brilliant talent of Alison Lohman, and ended with a musical, Rent. La Vie Boheme - New York, twilight of the 1980s... I enjoyed it so much that I immediately watched a theatrical version afterwards, filmed live on Broadway. Loved it as well.
